Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another:
and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25

Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety. Proverbs 11:14

Back to Church by:  William Earnhardt

Last evening I was in the home of a former Adventist church member who has not been to any church in several years.
As he and I were visiting he had the animal channel on TV. They were talking about the muskrat oxen in the arctic.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musk_ox In one scene they showed a lone wolf who came to see if he could attack one of them.
I thought it was interesting that I often see or hear of wolves attacking alone and not in packs. The musk oxen all closed into
a tight circle with their horns pointed out. The baby oxen were closed into the middle of the circle. What the lone wolf saw
was not several oxen but one huge ball with horns! The wolf studied the pack, and then ran away deciding it would be futile
to attack the entire pack.

I told my friend that the wolf was like the devil. He agreed. I told him that the pack of oxen were like the church. He agreed.
I told him the wolf could not attack them because they were protected as long as they were unified. He agreed. I told him the
baby oxen could not be attacked by the wolf because they were protected not just by the parent oxen but by all the adult oxen
in the entire pack. He agreed. I told him Satan can not attack us as long as we are all in unity. That is why he tries to separate
and isolate us. He knows that is the only way he will have a chance to attack us. My friend agreed. I then told him he needs
to get back to church, back into the pack so that he will be protected from Satan. He agreed! Please pray that my friend will
follow through and come back to the pack!

William

Finding Ramon by:  Joel Meneses

This was a Thursday morning of 2008 like so many others, but something different was going to happen. It was a busy hour in downtown Tampa, Florida and because that, I had a hard time to find a spot where I could park my car. When I finally did it and exited my car, I saw an old lady looking at me kind of hesitating to approach me or not. I smiled to her and said, hi! She smiled back and walked towards me. How can I help you? I asked. She said: Usted habla espaņol? Si, I answered. Next she told me in Spanish that she was lost. She said, I exited my car while my husband was trying to park it, and because he had to move it again
to find a better place I started following him and finally got lost. I don't know where he is. "Beautiful..." I told myself. Do your husband carry a cell phone with him? Was my next question. No she said, he is deaf! He cannot here anything and understand most of what we say reading our lips moves. Hum mm, that doesn't sound good I thought again. Ok let's see; do you have a place to where you both were going to, here in downtown? And she told me that they were going to court because an accident in the
past where they got hurt and both ended up in the hospital. Well that helps because I can take you there. I know your husband
has to go that way as well soon or later.  I didn't feel like giving this lady a ride in my car as I was a stranger to her, so we
walked and kept on talking. When we got close of the building I told her not to move from there until her husband showed up, or she was going to get lost again. We said good bye to each other and I walked away back to my car.

As I was walking I made a mental prayer asking God to bring Ramon (her husband name) to that same place where she was, because I knew she was in panic and didn't know any English. After that I just kind of forgot the problem and start walking faster. As I was crossing a street towards my car I saw Jim a friend that I know from downtown and decided to go there and exchange
a few words with him. Jim is a very exceptional Christian that every day is there in that same corner handling Christian literature
to people passing by. As I was talking with him and sharing my not too long ago experience with that old lady, I looked to my left
and I saw an old man standing not too far from us. At the time his back was facing me, and I could see two hearing devices covering the back of his ears. I felt like a voice in my brain telling me "this is the man". I walked to him and said: Mr Ramon! Nothing... he didn't turn around. So I touched his shoulder and this time he turned around facing me. Making a short story. Yes, this man was Ramon. There was thousands of people around me and here he was Ramon, very close from where was my
friend Jim. I should add that, before this moment I addressed another lonely man asking if he was looking for his wife that I had found lost somewhere in town. That was an embarrassing moment because he wasn't Ramon of course. Based on that bad experience I decided not to ask anybody else about such a subject but, "the voice in my brain" made me do it again and here it was: A miracle. I was asking God to take Ramon to his wife and not me to Ramon. But the Mighty God decided different. He decided to get this old couple together through me. Jim was amazed and I was a very happy person when I took this old man to
his wife. I never heard so many "thank you" and wishes of blessings in my life like I heard that morning from the lips of these two souls. May God bless them as well... and save them. We need to pray more and more and believe in God answers. We need a
better relationship with our Lord Jesus and make Him the constant companion in our lives, talking to Him and sharing our feelings.

He knows everything about us, but He likes that we tell Him.
Jesus likes to talk a lot and He likes that we listen to Him. He enjoys very much every single moment of our companion.
We are family!
